How We Operate
UBUCHANGE runs practical programs that help refugees and youth move from learning to earning. Each program focuses on a key stage of the Salespreneurship journey, turning creativity into real income and confidence.
Artisan Empowerment Program
We work with refugee artisans to improve the quality of their handmade products. They receive training in design, finishing, pricing, and marketing. We then connect them to local and international buyers through our online marketplace so they can earn income and grow their craft businesses.
Creative Salespreneur Program
We support women to become creative entrepreneurs using materials from the banana value chain. They learn to turn banana bark and natural fibers into eco-friendly baskets, handbags, and home décor. This program gives them practical skills, confidence, and a sustainable way to earn income while caring for the environment.
Youth Job Linkage Program
We connect young people to job opportunities that match their skills. We provide mentorship, help them prepare for interviews, and link them to employers looking for skilled youth. This program reduces unemployment and gives young people a sense of purpose and direction.
Financial Inclusion and Growth
We support business growth through group savings, mobile money systems, and small loans that help Salespreneurs access capital and expand their work.
